Bremen Express on CEC Service (Update No. 2)

Dear MOL Customer:

According to Hapag-Lloyd, some containers onboard the MV Bremen Express, sailing on the CEC service from the United States East Coast to the Mediterranean, were lost overboard.

It has been reported that the vessel, which was located roughly 1,400 nautical miles west of Europe when the incident occurred, was able to continue sailing after reporting the incident to the responsible authorities. The vessel is expected to call at a port in the Mediterranean (tentatively scheduled to be Tangier, Morocco ETA December 23) in order to be inspected before passing through the Suez Canal on its journey to Asia.

Thus far, we have been advised that 19 MOL containers fell overboard, and the impacted customers have been contacted directly. We are closely monitoring the situation and we will provide schedule updates upon availability.

We regret the inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please contact your MOL sales or customer service representative. As always, we appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

MOL Liner Ltd.
