MOL (America) Inc. Announces Promotion of Richard Craig to Executive Vice President, Sales and Operations

JANUARY 10, 2014 – Lombard, IL – MOL (America) Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Richard Craig to the position of executive vice president, sales and operations. He will continue to report to Tsuyoshi Yoshida, President and Chief Executive Officer, MOL (America) Inc.

“Dick’s extensive credentials and proven leadership ability with our operations department has been a tremendous asset to MOL and he is well prepared to take on the additional responsibility in sales,” said Yoshida. “He’ll continue to play a key senior executive role and provide oversight of MOL (Canada) Inc., MOL (Panama) Inc., and MOL Mexico.”

Mr. Craig has been with MOL (America) Inc. for almost 11 years, and has served in several vice president roles, responsible for yield management, network planning, and area operations. He was named senior vice president, area operations in 2011 while progressively broadening his responsibilities for management oversight to include Canada, Panama, and Mexico.

Mr. Craig earned his undergraduate economics degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA in transportation and finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. After completing his MBA, he joined Southern Pacific for two years, and then spent 22 years with American President Lines where he held key management positions in Oakland as well as Hong Kong and Singapore. He joined MOL in April 2003.
