Vietnam to U.S. East Coast Service Enhancement


Dear MOL Customers:

 

 

MOL Liner is pleased to announce the enhancement of the SVS service, which will significantly improve average transit times from Vietnam to the U.S. East Coast by 5 -7 days, the fastest in the industry.

The following table summarizes the key transit times from Cai Mep, Vietnam to the U.S. East Coast before and after the service enhancement:

Service details and other key features of the improved SVS are as follows:

Cargo transported from major Asian ports to key destinations on the U.S. East coast, via the Suez Canal

Algeciras taken out from both East and West bound services. Direct connections from  Vietnam/South China/Singapore to the U.S. East Coast, including Jacksonville

Only Asia to U.S. East Coast service with Norfolk as the first call

Serving U.S. to Asia export customers in the southeast U.S. with direct Singapore, Vietnam and China calls

First export call of Singapore allows for easy transshipment to other MOL services, including direct connections to all key ports in Asia

Commencement voyage:
From “MOL Progress 078E”, departing “Hong Kong” on “July 12, 2014”

Port Rotation:
Hong Kong – Yantian – Cai Mep – Singapore – Suez Canal – Norfolk – Savannah – Jacksonville – Charleston – Suez Canal – Colombo – Singapore – Hong Kong
