United States West Coast Ports

Dear MOL Customer:

Due to continued challenges being experienced at U.S. West Coast ports, MOL has decided to take the following actions intended to avoid creating further complications to these challenges.

(1)  MOL will temporarily suspend the release of empty containers at inland rail locations for export cargo routed via Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland. The suspension is intended to be effective for seven (7) days beginning Wednesday, February 18, 2015 thru and including Tuesday, February 24.

(2)  In order to effectively implement the suspension of empty container release, MOL will also be required to cancel any existing booking (for the above routings) that has not had further customer activity.

(3)  MOL is also restricting our booking window (for the above routings) to no more than four (4) weeks in advance of vessel ETD.

MOL will continue to evaluate the situation and provide further updates as may become necessary.

Despite the ongoing challenges, MOL remains committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you have any questions, please contact MOL customer service at 1-800-449-7575. As always, we appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

MOL (America) Inc.
