Updated Information Regarding United States West Coast Ports

Dear MOL Customer:

MOL is pleased to advise that, in a joint press release issued late Friday evening, the Pacific Maritime Association and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union announced a tentative agreement on a new five-year contract covering workers at all 29 United States West Coast ports.

Although the tentative agreement is subject to ratification by both parties, MOL is eager to see normal operations resume as soon as possible. We will update you regarding our schedule for our U.S. West Coast services as timely as possible.

However, we’d like to ask for your continued patience, as it will take quite some time to bring operations back to normal. We anticipate that transit delays and terminal congestion will continue into the foreseeable future.

In addition, the Port of Oakland experienced a labor disruption over the weekend and we are monitoring the situation closely.

MOL will provide updates as may become necessary. We remain committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you have any questions, please contact MOL customer service at 1-800-449-7575. As always, we appreciate your business.
