MOL Liner Ltd Restructures South East Asia and New Zealand Service


MOL Liner Ltd. announces the restructuring of its South East Asia and New Zealand service into three loops. MOL’s existing NZX service will be enhanced by NZ1, NZ2 and NZ3 with effect from November 2015. The newly restructured loops are designed to improve port coverage of the New Zealand network, while providing customers with a wider choice of port calls and shorter transit times.

Details of the service network are as follows:

Current NZX Service
Rotation (Total rotation: 42 days, one ship by MOL operation, five ships operated by partners)

  • Port Kelang (Mon/Mon) – Singapore (Tue/Thu) – Brisbane (Tue/Wed) – Auckland (Sun/Mon) – Lyttelton (Wed/Thu) – Wellington (Fri/Fri) – Napier (Sat/Sun) – Tauranga (Sun/Mon) – Port Kelang 

New Service – NZ1 

Rotation (Total rotation: 35 days, five ships operated by MSK)

  • Singapore (Wed/Thu) – Tauranga (Wed/Thu) – Lyttelton (Fri/Sat) – Tanjung Pelepas (Mon/Tue) – Singapore

New Service – NZ2

Rotation (Total rotation: 42 days, six ships operated by MSK)

  • Singapore (Tue/Wed) – Wellington (Mon/Mon) – Napier (Fri/Sat) – Auckland (Sun/Mon) – Tanjung Pelepas (Mon/Tue) – Singapore

New Service – NZ3

Rotation (Total rotation: 35 days, five ships operated by MSK)

  • Singapore (Sun/Mon) – Auckland (Wed/Thu) – Tauranga (Fri/Sat) – Tanjung Pelepas (Sat/Sun) – Singapore
