Bremen Express on CEC Service (Update No. 1)

Dear MOL Customer:

Please be advised that the MV Bremen Express, sailing on the CEC service, experienced rolling for reasons yet to be determined on her voyage from the United States East Coast to the Mediterranean. As a result, several stacks of containers came loose from their anchorages and lashings, and some of these boxes fell overboard.

The ship, which was located roughly 1,400 nautical miles west of Europe when the incident occurred, was able to continue sailing after reporting the incident to the responsible authorities. It will need to call at a port in the Mediterranean in order to be inspected before passing through the Suez Canal on its journey to Asia.

We are closely monitoring the situation and we will provide schedule updates upon availability. In addition, once we have identified whether any MOL containers fell overboard, the impacted customers will be contacted directly.

We regret the inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please contact your MOL sales or customer service representative. As always, we appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

MOL Liner Ltd.
